Over 25 years ago, owner
George Ota contemplated the name for his new
establishment. After many hours of
contemplation, the result was a name that
portrays a sense of strength and longevity.
Bamboo, for generations, the Japanese
people have viewed bamboo as symblic of over
coming hardship. Even through the strongest
hurricanes, bamboo stands tall, green and
beautiful, bending, but never breaking. Thus the
name " Bamboo Teri House" was chosen in hopes of
giving our restaurant a sense of
stability, strength, and
tranquility. Customer satisfaction means a
lot to Bamboo Terihouse. In our
hearts, our customers are truly 'ichiban'!
